The Sandbox has launched a multi-year partnership with King Kong of Skull Island to build a space inside its virtual world where you can build, own, and monetize your gaming experiences.
The Sandbox has done a LAND token sale in the Defender District park within the Skull Island section of The Sandbox’s metaverse-like map. It has also started a LAND sale in the second of three parks inside the new Adventure World neighborhood on the Sandbox map. The third part is yet to be named. The whole map is called Brawler’s Ring.
The Defender District, is home to the manga series Attack on Titan. The Sandbox also has a first-of-its kind avatar collection: Following the LAND sale, there will be a launch of an avatar collection with playable, titan-sized King Kong of Skull Island avatars.
The LAND owners will receive custom-branded boxing gloves featuring the King Kong of Skull Island, The Sandbox, and Brawlers Ring logos. And premium LAND owners will also receive a signed poster and a copy of King Kong of Skull Island, personally autographed by acclaimed fantasy artist and illustrator of the IP, Joe DeVito.
