Machine Games’ upcoming title, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, is Xbox exclusive no more. PlayStation players will be able to live out their own adventure in Spring 2025, the quarter after the title launches on PC and Xbox.
Prior to this announcement, it was unclear how long PlayStation players would have to wait to try out Indy’s upcoming adventure for themselves. As a Bethesda published title, fans expected a timed exclusivity window for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Players will primarily experience the game in first-person, switching to third-person for particular puzzles. Additionally, the game is set between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). This will add to the Indiana Jones timeline in addition to appealing to cross-generational fans.
This short exclusivity window also suggests that Bethesda — and parent company Microsoft — recognize the value of reaching fans on both consoles.
