‘House of Vinted’ introduces luxury online fashion wardrobe


Vinted is launching a new luxury fashion wardrobe showcasing curated designer items, with part of the proceeds from the ‘House of Vinted’ sale going to Oxfam. 

From 6pm on 25 March 2025, Vinted members will be able to purchase designer items from brands including The Row, Prada, Gucci, Maison Margiela, Jacquemus and more. Key pieces will come directly from the personal wardrobes of some of “fashion’s favourite creators”.

The wardrobes were previewed to Vinted members in London last weekend as part of Vinted’s first ever ‘in real life’ luxury event. The themes of the wardrobes were based on the styles of the creators involved and on Vinted data which shows there is an increasing trend for search terms like art deco, gingham, vintage, scandi, statement piece, puff sleeves and cable-knit sweaters. 

Emma Sullivan, creative director at Vinted, said: “Following our ‘House of Vinted’ showcase in London this weekend, from today Vinted members across the UK will be able to shop items from the specially curated wardrobes seen at the event. I am excited for our members to share in the joy that comes from buying and selling luxury second-hand fashion.”

In recent years, the second-hand fashion market has gained significant momentum, driven by a growing awareness of sustainability and a desire for unique styles at affordable prices. During this time, Vinted, founded in 2008 in Lithuania, has emerged as a leading online marketplace dedicated to the buying and selling of second-hand clothing and accessories.

Vinted has expanded significantly since its inception and now operates in multiple countries across Europe. While the platform’s birthplace, Lithuania, remains a key market, its largest market is France, where the demand for second-hand fashion has surged in recent years.
