Brutal. Out. Here. Olivia Rodrigo, blink twice if you need a new stage manager. Just a day after the singer fell into a hole on stage while performing on her Guts World Tour in Melbourne, Australia, social media users spotted her holding a strip of hair in her hand. Seriously, what was going on in Melbourne?
In a video posted to TikTok, you can see the “deja vu” songwriter spinning around while holding the microphone close to her face. As she lowers her hand, a chunk of hair comes out with it. Commenters speculate that it may have been an extension and not her actual hair, which seems likely, but still, it might have hurt a bit.

In the clip, she’s wearing the same sparkly silver two-piece outfit she wore when someone left a trap door in her stage open and she fully fell into it. Yep, it was the same concert. In the words of Beyoncé, somebody getting fired.

“Oh my God, that was fun! I’m OK,” Rodrigo told the gasping crowd when she climbed out of the hole. “Wow, sometimes, there’s just a hole in the stage,” she said, recovering quickly. ”That’s alright. Okay, where was I? How’re we doing tonight, Melbourne?”
Afterward, paps caught her boarding a private flight with a bandaged thumb, but she appeared otherwise unharmed. Thank Guts! Olivia Rodrigo has four more shows down unda, in Sydney, before taking a nice long break from touring for the rest of the year. Let’s pray that the Sydney crew is already hard at work making sure no harm befalls our pop punk princess in their city.
Oh, and the Guts World Tour movie is coming to Netflix on October 29, so we can all enjoy the performance from the safety of our homes. Where hopefully our hair will stay on our heads.
