Taylor Swift fans are bouncing around another Reputation (TV) theoryâand this one has nothing to do with her clothes.
On October 13, one Swiftie pointed out that the âEnd Gameâ music video was partially filmed in Miami, which just so happens to be Swiftâs next stop on the Eras Tour. After spending Kelceâs bye week double-dating in New York City, Swift is heading to Floridaâs Hard Rock Stadium from October 18âOctober 20. And while the lyrics to âEnd Gameâ sure feel like theyâre about Travis Kelce, itâs important to remember it was actually released on her sixth studio album in 2016.
So, could this be another clue that Swift plans to drop (or at the very least, announce) Reputation (Taylorâs Version) in Miami? After all, Shawn Mendes and Joe Jonas have both postponed album releases previously scheduled for October 18, often a sign that a predominant artist has something in the works. (Remember those Drake lyrics about Miss Swift?)
Itâs starting to add up. âI know she cant plan THAT far in advance, but is she using it to her advantage now??â the TikTok user captioned their âEnd Gameâ video, which now has over 39,000 views and 53 comments.
âYes, I have always thought Rep would be announced in Miami,â responded one Swiftie, while another wrote, âShe for sure plans that far in advance.â In the words of Alexis Rose, âIâm gonna have to bring you back down to Earth for a sec.â The âEnd Gameâ music video was released over a year before Scooter Braun purchased Swiftâs masters without her consent in 2019, sparking her plans to reclaim her first six albums in the first place.
I donât mean to be testy, but Iâve hurt my own feelings too many times at this point, thinking Iâve figured out Swiftâs rep TV plan. You should have seen my face when Swift stepped out in her Ivy corset set and Roberto Cavalli mirror snake bag on October 12â¦until I realized she wore an even more blatant version of that âfit all the way back in January.
